Poly Defoamer PPE Antifoam GP Good Defoaming Effect In Oily Systems.

PPE defoamer is one of the earliest poly defoamers used, with basic indicators, usage methods, and dosage similar to GPE.

The product is mainly designed for fermentation defoaming industry. It can also be added to the manufacturing process of other chemicals. Disinfected with base raw materials, it can also be partially disinfected by adding material in the later part of the fermentation process.

Under normal conditions, a dosage of 0.25%-0.6% will meet the requirement of fermentation defoaming cycle.

Defoamer GP, full name polyoxypropylglycerol, is a polymer of epichlorohydrin and propylene glycol. Insoluble in water, it is a good lipophilic poly defoamer with excellent defoaming effect in oily systems.

This product can be applied in microbial fermentation, food production and processing, construction industry products, printing and dyeing industry, metal manufacturing and processing industry, battery new energy field, water treatment system, and can also be added in the production process of many chemical products.

This antifoam is available in 25Kg, 50Kg and 200Kg PE drum or internal-coated bucket. Alternate packaging is available upon request.

Sealed in a cool, ventilated and dry place, avoiding exposure to the sun and rain. Strictly prohibit from mixing, storing or transporting with strong acid, alkali and toxic substances.

Under the conditions above, product storage period is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Exceeding the guarantee period, it can be used if it is qualified after analysis.

Poly defoamers primarily exert their effects by reducing surface tension of foam films and destroying foam stability, with the following core functions:

• Defoaming (Foam Breaking): Rapidly penetrate and break down existing foam in the system. They disrupt the structural stability of foam films, causing the trapped air to escape quickly, which is crucial for eliminating sudden foam surges in processes like mixing, stirring, or fermentation.
• Anti-foaming (Foam Inhibition): Form a stable, low-surface-tension film on the liquid surface of the application system. This film prevents the formation of new foam by inhibiting the aggregation of air bubbles, maintaining a foam-free or low-foam state for an extended period during production.
• Improving Process Efficiency: Eliminate foam-induced disruptions in industrial processes. For example, in water treatment, they prevent foam from blocking pipelines or reducing the contact area of treatment agents; in coating production, they avoid foam-related defects to ensure smooth production workflows.
• Guaranteeing Product Quality: Prevent foam from affecting the physical or chemical properties of end products. In food processing, they avoid foam causing uneven filling or affecting taste; in pharmaceutical production, they prevent foam from reducing drug purity or causing dosage inaccuracies.
• Enhancing System Stability: Maintain the stability of the application system without reacting with other components. They do not alter the pH, viscosity, or active ingredient content of the system, ensuring the system operates as designed.
