Polyethylene Glycol series products are versatile compounds used in pharmaceutical applications. Lower molecular weight PEGs serve as solvents, co-solvents, o/w emulsifiers, and stabilizers for cement suspensions, emulsions, injections, water-soluble ointment bases, and suppository bases. Higher molecular weight solid waxy PEGs increase viscosity and solid formation in pharmaceutical formulations and act as carriers for solid dispersions of poorly water-soluble drugs. These products also serve as raw materials for ester surfactants.

Product Applications
PEG4000 & PEG6000 Applications
These grades serve as excellent coating materials, hydrophilic polishing agents, film and capsule materials, plasticizers, lubricants, and dropping pill substrates for tablets, pills, capsules, and microcapsules. In pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, they function as matrices for viscosity and melting point adjustment. Paper industry applications include use as finishing agents to enhance gloss and smoothness. Rubber industry applications improve lubricity and plasticity while reducing processing power consumption and extending product lifespan. Additional uses include lubricants and coolants in metal processing, dispersants and emulsifiers in pesticides and pigments, and antistatic agents and lubricants in textiles.
PEG8000 Applications
Used as a matrix in pharmaceutical and cosmetic production for viscosity and melting point adjustment. Applications extend to lubricants and coolants in rubber and metal processing, dispersants and emulsifiers in pesticide and pigment production, and antistatic agents and lubricants in textile manufacturing.
